Tāhuna Studio is an independent architectural design practice founded by Yadharsh Yathin on the belief that good design should be considered, accessible, and transparent. The studio is intentionally personal, allowing clients to collaborate directly with the designer, and draws from international architectural thinking while remaining deeply grounded in the realities of New Zealand—its climate, landscape, planning, and way of living.
Yadharsh holds a Master of Architecture (Professional) from Unitec New Zealand and brings over 12 years of industry experience across New Zealand and India. His expertise spans residential architecture, bespoke design, and multi-unit housing, with a focus on seamless project delivery, technical rigour, and consultant coordination from design through to construction.
Every project starts by understanding the relationship between the people, the land, and the environment. By combining rigorous architectural knowledge with advanced digital tools, BIM, and AI-assisted design workflows, the studio tests options quickly and communicates design with clarity—ensuring resources are used responsibly to create enduring places that add genuine value to everyday life.
